The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has published a total of 17 vacancies for the post of Factory Inspector.

Eligibility Criteria for BPSC Factory Inspector Recruitment

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have a degree in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine (MBBS) from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification notified by the Bihar State Government. Regular MBBS degrees are considered under the Medicine category.

Experience:

Candidates should have two years of practical experience in a reputed firm or government department related to Engineering, Technology, or Medicine. Practical training completed during the university course, up to a maximum of one year, will also be counted toward the required experience.

UR (Male): 37 Years
BC/EBC (Male & Female) & UR (Female): 40 Years
SC/ST (Male & Female): 42 Years

Age Relaxation:

Bihar Govt employees: 5 years
Ex-servicemen: 3 years + service period (max age 57 years)

Candidates eligible between 01.08.2018 to 01.08.2025 are also allowed.

Pay Scale for BPSC Factory Inspector 2026

Selected candidates for the BPSC Factory Inspector 2026 post will receive a salary under Pay Level-9, which ranges from Rs. 63,100 to 1,67,800 per month.
